Guided Walk, East Ruston Garden. Cost £40 (includes lunch).

| 12th - 13th August |
Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival. With around four hours of precision and breathtaking flying acts on show, our sea front is transformed for the two days of the Festival. There is something for everyone whatever age, with funfairs, rides, simulators, stalls, caterers, trade stands, music and above all a great family atmosphere! |
| 13th to 15th August |
Craft and Food Fair, Sandringham. Living Heritage Craft Shows return to Sandringham in July, offering skills such as wood turning, glass blowing and lace making, as well as falconry displays, ferret races and puppet shows throughout the day. This popular show offers a full day out for all the family. |
| 14th - 20th August |
Cromer Carnival. Carnival Day 18th August. A week long traditional summer Carnival of family fun and events culminates in a Carnival Day procession around the town featuring floats, fancy-dress, pull-and push-along vehicles and much more. |
| 21st - 22nd August |
Beccles Carnival weekend is more than a traditional carnival parade. Saturday sees teddy bears parade with judging of the best dressed teddy, entertainment from KSLYR with prize give-aways, fun and Games. With a fancy dress for children, displays and stalls. Sunday sees the Grand traditional Carnival procession through the Beccles Market town followed by Stocks Fun fair, displays and competitions and entertainment for all the family. |
| 21st - 22nd August |
Metfield Festival. A two day festival. Saturday: traditional village fete, horticultural show, art exhibition and flower fiesta. Sunday: visit Metfield Open Gardens and Allotments, listen to talks on local people buried in the church, a second chance to visit the flower fiesta and art exhibition. |
| 24th August |

| 28th August |
Fakenham Fair. Millennium Park will be filled with family fun from 2 to 6pm. There will be everything from fairground rides to charity stalls, classic cars to children’s games, and an arena to show off the best of local talent. We hope to evoke town carnivals of years gone by, when the whole community got together to celebrate the local area and all it has to offer. |
| 29th August |
The Great Kick Start Fakenham Duck Race. At 2pm, a flotilla of rubber ducks will be let loose from Gogg’s Mill bridge – will the one that reaches the downstream finishing line first be the one you sponsored? A great prize is on offer if you’ve got the winning duck. |
| 28th - 30th August |
Barton Broad Sailing Regatta. Open Regatta 30th August.
Various sailing races on Barton Broad, the 2nd largest of the Norfolk Broads. |

Woodcotes Photographics Exhibition, Grapes Gallery Snettisham. Photographs of Norfolk and The Isles of Scilly. Other photographs will be on display too. Open Mon-Fri 9 am to 5pm, Sat 91m to 1pm. Entrance is FREE. |
| 3rd -5th September |
Grand Steam Gala, North Norfolk Railway. The NNR's late summer gala is the curtain raiser to similar events around the country. Showcasing a mix of visiting and home locomotives, it's as popular with visiting holidaymakers as it is with enthusiasts. |
| 11th - 12th September |
Sandringham Game and Country Show. The Game and Country Show was a new event for Sandringham, and we are delighted that it will be returning this September. Whole areas devoted to falconry, fishing, wildfowling, archery and many other country sports and pursuits, together with lots of activities for families (and their dogs!) makes this event a true celebration of country living. |
| 12th September |
Sporle Companion Dog Show. Open to all dog oweners and dogs! 6 Pedigree Classes and 12 Novelty Classes. There will also be stall holders selling all things doggy as well as a grand raffle. For the full schedule, please visit the website.

| 18th - 19th September |
1940's Weekend North Norfolk Railway. Over the years this event has attracted more and more visitors and more and more exhibitors. It is widely felt to be one of the best events of its type in the country. |
| 25th - 26th September |
Steam Gala, Bure Valley Railway. Visiting engines get the chance to let off steam, together with the Bure Valley Railways own fleet of locomotives all in action. Intensive timetable will operate. |

Model Railway Exhibition, Bure Valley Railway. Broadland Model Railway Club in Conjunction with Bure Valley Railway - Aylsham Model Railway Exhibition located at the Jubilee Centre, Aylsham. Special connecting train service from Wroxham at 10:00 to convey passengers to Aylsham which includes a super deal ticket, particularly if pre-booked for all inclusive admission to the exhibition, as well as the return train journey. |

Altogether Now! on the North Norfolk Railway. Wanted - Children to help run the Poppy Line! Here's a rather special half term treat! The Poppy Line is offering children the chance to help run the railway and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes. Altogether Now is happening this weekend! Find out how an engine works, watch the signalman operate the signal box, wave the flags for the guard. What does a stationmaster do? Visit Professor Fanthorpe to learn about the science of steam, listen to railway stories, sing railway songs and even visit the engine & carriage shed. But watch out for Morgan the Railway Cat! |
