Norfolk has many country parks, located in some of the most picturesque locations in the whole of England. Some have been created from old gravel pits, others have existing for centuries among ancient woodland. They all offer waymarked footpaths, picnic areas and usually a visitors centre to explore.

At Holt Country Park you will find a wood extending to almost 100 acres and containing Scots Pine, Oak and Silver Birch. Throughout the Country Park there are interesting features such as a totem pole, carved stile, play area and viewing tower.
